At the forefront of product innovation, we’ve developed a new door range that challenges traditional classifications. By shifting the focus from generic labels such as “chilled” or “freezer” to the more precise concept of Temperature Differential, we aim to better educate our customers and end-users—helping them choose solutions based on performance requirements rather than assumptions.
Leveraging the latest in advanced manufacturing technology, we produce with exceptional accuracy and fine tolerances. This allows us to enhance operational efficiency, offer more competitive lead times, and deliver consistently high-quality products. Through streamlined processes, we also closely monitor and minimise waste—supporting both sustainability goals and cost-effectiveness for our clients.
As part of our design development and product analysis we have performed CFD simulations at the edge of the temperature differentials typically found in both the internal and external conditions of cold storage units, which were used to evaluate the thermal performance of our products.
The focus of the simulation is the perimeter of the door, as this has typically proven to be the area with the worst thermal performance on most available solutions.
The design workflow incorporated simulation from the start – the initial geometry and materials were selected, and their properties simulated to inform changes necessary for production and performance. The final simulation involved an adaptive mesh with 5.7 million elements to ensure even the smallest features were included.
